For those that missed the meetings we are joining up with our local group River of Hope to bring 111 kids a bit of Christmas cheer. During the meeting scouts were able to ‘adopt’ a child from age 8 to 18 by taking a tag off the tree. These are kids who have troubled homes and are at risk. For many of these kids this will be their only present this year. 

If your child took a tag the request is a hand made card and a gift card from $20 to $30. You can also do small gifts but they have to fit inside a manilla envelope as the Rivers of Hope elves have to deliver to multiple schools and have limited access. The presents have to be brought to the December 6, 2021 troop meeting. 

If you’d like to participate we still have 17 kids that we’d like to have ‘adopted’ for the holiday season. Please contact me right away if you have any questions or if you’d like to participate.

I wanted to remind everyone that starting Monday August 16th We need to bring back any tents and or ground tarps that were sent home to be aired out and cleaned after Many Point.

We are well into 2021 and the world is keeping us all on our toes. Tonight mother nature has decided that Minnesota should go through a deep freeze; which is not normally unusual, but this winter it definitely has been.
